Maintenance Specialist Property Management

We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist. Our maintenance team currently services properties located in Venice and North Port, Florida.

MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - - - (JOB# 24-MSWD-01)

This position will work as an integral part of the Property Management team to ensure the success of the properties. This full-time position is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week and has rotational on-call with other team members (estimated once every 4 weeks). Work with the maintenance team to diagnosis and perform light and routine repair functions (i.e. - carpentry, plumbing, electrical HVAC) and other general apartment and common area repair duties to maintain the physical aspects of our Apartment Communities. If you have experience in some areas, and are willing to learn others, this may be a great opportunity to gain some additional experience within the trades.

Candidates who are highly motivated, self-starters, and who have retail or property management experience, or comparable skills, along with a successful track record of providing excellent customer service are encouraged to apply. Requirements:

• HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Experience in apartment/commercial related maintenance preferred (comparable experience will be considered)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling capabilities.
• Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment & provide excellent customer service.
• A valid driving license with a clean driving record and vehicle is required.
